What an exciting game we had.....

Yesterday we played C. Falls, and just as expected they gave us a good game. Their JV did a heck of a job, defensively and offensively. We were down by 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th innning, and my daughter came in from 1st on a single hit by Staci, our freshman shortstop.

My daughter got on base by the way she hates the most, a walk, but she ended up being the winning run across the plate, so she was pumped about that. She went 3 for 4 at the plate, and made some great plays in center to get some outs for the team. Her on base percentage right now is .694, and her hitting average is .500. Not bad for a sophmore, who has played since she was 9 years old. The card I made last year, the pp is Karen Foster. The alphabet are stickers, I cut out sections of the pp to make the yellow come through, and the yellow brad has stitches added for the ball detail.
Now I have to wait until tuesday for another game, sniff! But we play Frenchtown, who is our only loss on the season. Go Lady Pirates!!

Cool Coach card! I can feel your excitement for the game of fastpitch softball. Our daughter KT was a pitcher for the "Golden Girls" for six years and we lived and breathed softball every summer! They are some of our best memories as a family and yours will be too! ENJOY!
